Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (June 7) introduced that the federal government will present free vaccines to all above 18 years of age. In a televised handle to the nation, PM Modi mentioned these within the age group of 18 and above can be administered free anti-Covid vaccine from June 21. 

He mentioned that Centre will purchase 75 per cent of the whole vaccine manufacturing from vaccine producers and provides it free to the state governments, including that no state authorities must spend something on the vaccine.
