Medical doctors at Sarojini Naidu Medical School (SNMC) in Agra efficiently operated on a new child who had signs of black fungus (Mucormycosis) on Monday. The 14-day-old woman had a black spot and blister on her left cheek when she was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night and after the operation the fungal an infection was eliminated, Dr Akhilesh Pratap Singh, head of ENT division informed PTI.
When she was admitted at SNMC, she had kidney and coronary heart sickness, and was underweight, however there have been no signs of COVID-19, he added.
