Tunnel detected in J&Ok’s Samba, suspected to have been utilized by four Jaish terrorists to sneak from Pakistan

A tunnel has been detected close to the Worldwide Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s sector Samba sector. The underground tunnel is suspected to have been utilized by 4 Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists to sneak into the nation from Pakistan. 

The 4 terrorists have been killed in an encounter when a Kashmir-bound truck, during which they have been travelling, was stopped for checking at Ban toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar nationwide freeway on Thursday. In line with the police, these terrorists had come to execute a “massive plan” to disrupt the District Improvement Council polls, slated to happen in eight phases starting November 28.

An enormous cache of arms and ammunition together with 11 AK assault rifles, three pistols, 29 grenades and 6 UBGL grenades have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.

In line with officers, it was suspected that the terrorists infiltrated into this facet from Pakistan by means of the underground tunnel in Samba district. The large anti-tunnelling operation was being carried out by the BSF since Friday.
