“They attacked me. Nobody from Nandigram attacked me however you introduced goons from UP, Bihar. We wish a free and truthful election. If they arrive, ladies ought to beat them up with utensils,” the Trinamool chief added.

Banerjee on Monday performed a large roadshow in Nandigram, the place she is pitted towards her former lieutenant and BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikari. 

The high-stakes constituency in Purba Medinipur district will go to the polls within the second section on April 1.

 

Accompanied by senior TMC leaders, Banerjee led the Eight-km-long roadshow from Reyapara Khudiram Extra to Thakurchowk in her wheelchair, greeting individuals with folded arms.
