Tamil Nadu extends Covid lockdown until June 14 with some relaxations

The lockdown in Tamil Nadu first started for 2 weeks on Might 10 and was prolonged for one more week on Might 24.

The Tamil Nadu authorities on Saturday has prolonged the continuing Covid-induced lockdown until June 14 with some relaxations   

In keeping with an announcement issued by the state authorities, Kovai, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai are among the many 11 districts in Tamil Nadu which were exempted from the relaxations because of the excessive fee of an infection in these districts.

In remaining districts, together with Chennai, the place the an infection has began receding, relaxations have been allowed with some restrictions from June 7. Personal safety service organisations and housekeeping companies will likely be allowed with eRegistration. Electricians, plumbers, motor technicians, carpenters can work between 6 am to five pm. Outlets promoting electrical items, bulbs, cables, switches and wires can even perform between the above mentined timings. Outlets for repairing bi-cycles, 2-wheelers and hardware outlets can perform between 6 am to five pm. Name taxis, employed automobiles and auto rickshaws might be operated with e-registration, the order talked about. On Might 28, Tamil Nadu authorities had introduced the extension of the lockdown throughout the state until June 7.
