The Lucknow police on Thursday arrested a Congress chief in reference to the loss of life of a lady who succumbed to accidents after she tried to self-immolate in entrance of the Legislative Meeting in Uttar Pradesh. The arrested man has been recognized as Alok Prasad. Alok is the chairman of UP Congress’ ST/ST cell.
Alok is the son of former Rajasthan Governor and Congress chief Sukhdev Prasad.
In accordance with experiences, Alok had instigated the lady to set herself ablaze. He has been arrested on the cost of abetment to suicide.
The lady, 35, had set herself on hearth close to the Uttar Pradesh Meeting constructing, succumbed to the accidents at a hospital in Lucknow. The lady, from Maharajganj, was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday with extreme burn accidents and died on the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (SPM) Hospital in Hazratganj. She had suffered 90% burns.
The lady had earlier tried to immolate herself close to the Uttar Pradesh BJP workplace. In accordance with experiences, the woman was residing with one Asif Raja as her relationship along with her husband was not good and Raja has now gone overseas.
Maharajganj SP Pradeep Gupta on Tuesday stated that the lady had protested exterior the residence of Raja’s mother and father on October four. Maharajganj police added that the lady had not lodged any criticism on October four or after that when she was requested about it.
