Nationwide 74kg freestyle champion Sandeep Singh on Tuesday ended former world bronze medallist Narsingh Yadav’s dream of competing at subsequent month’s Asian Olympic Video games qualifiers with a second-round win on the trials right here.

In a star-studded discipline, the 21-year-old Punjab wrestler defeated Asian medallists Amit Dhankar 2-1 within the ultimate throughout the nationwide choice trials held Tuesday on the Indira Gandhi Indoor Sports activities Complicated, and booked a berth for the Asian Olympic qualifiers, to be held subsequent month in Almaty.
