In a tragic incident, a pair drowned in Cauvery river in Narsipura’s Talakadu whereas that they had gone to the positioning for his or her pre-wedding shoot. The incident was reported after the coracle during which the couple was sitting capsized within the river. In response to the police, the deceased couple has recognized as Chandru, 28, and Shashikala, 20, each from Kyatamaranahalli in Tirumakudalu Narsipura, a quaint temple city on the outskirts of Mysuru.
The city derives its title from ‘Tirumakudalu’ or ‘Sangama’ which accurately interprets to the confluence of three rivers – Cauvery, Kabini and Saptika (a legendary lake, which is named Guptagamini).
The police mentioned that the couple travelled together with members of the family and a photographer to Talakdu, which is the origin of river Cauvery and is simply 16 km away from Tirumakudalu Narasipura for a pre-wedding photoshoot.
The couple was set to tie the knot on November 22.
The police additional added that the couple desired to take a photograph in a coracle within the well-known ‘Titanic’ pose and in a sitting posture.
“Whereas they had been sitting, the water circulation was comparatively robust because of the latest rain, and because of this, the coracle rower failed to regulate and misplaced steadiness as a consequence of which the couple drowned,” a police officer mentioned and acknowledged that all of it occurred in entrance of the couple’s dad and mom and family members.
The police added that the coracle rower saved himself regardless of struggling to swim towards the present.
