The 12-year-old son of Shabnam Ali, a dying row convict lodged in Rampur jail, has met his mom. The boy, accompanied by his guardian, Usman, met his mom for about 45 minutes on Sunday. He later informed the media his mom has urged him to concentrate on his research.
“My mom requested me to concentrate on my research. I’m requesting ‘President uncle’ once more to forgive her,” he mentioned.
Earlier, of the boy holding a placard that mentioned, “President uncle, please forgive my mom Shabnam,” had gone viral on social media.
Rampur Jail Superintendent P.D. Salonia mentioned: “After the information arrived that preparations had begun to hold Shabnam at Mathura jail, the mom and son desperately wished to fulfill one another.
“The boy, who in any other case visits his mom in Rampur jail alongside along with his guardian each three months, came around her right here on Sunday afternoon. The assembly continued for round 45 minutes following which he left.”
Shabnam, now 38, had been convicted of killing seven of her relations — her mom, father, two brothers, sister-in-law, cousin and 10-month-old nephew — after her household opposed her relationship with Salim.
