“Medininagar SDPO Sandeep Kumar Gupta has been requested to research the matter. Strict motion might be taken if the allegations are discovered to be true,” Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar instructed PTI.
In his grievance, Rajnikanth Dubey (35) of Sonpurwa village mentioned he was picked up by the police on October eight on suspicion of theft.
Dubey alleged he was crushed up and the SHO himself gave electrical shocks on his personal components within the police station to make him confess to the crime, leaving him severely injured following which he was hospitalised.
Dr R Okay Ranjan, who had handled Dubey, has additionally confirmed that he obtained critical accidents on his personal components.
Within the grievance, Dubey alleged that upon failing to make him confess to the crime, the SHO launched him on October 9 with threats of “dire penalties” if he disclosed the incident to anybody.
