“The police surrounded the bushes and requested Girdhari to give up, however he continued firing with Usmani’s pistol. In retaliatory firing, a bullet hit the accused’s leg, and he fell down,” the official stated.
The accused was taken to the emergency unit of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, the place he succumbed throughout remedy, he added.
Police Commissioner D Ok Thakur stated sub-inspector Akhtar Usmani acquired accidents on his nostril, a bullet touched the suitable arm of sub-inspector Anil Singh, whereas one other bullet hit the bullet-proof jacket of inspector Chandrashekhar, within the incident.
