The Haryana authorities on Saturday prolonged the suspension of cellular web providers in 17 districts until 5 pm of January 31 “to forestall any disturbance of peace and public order” amid a protest by farmers in opposition to three farm legal guidelines that witnessed violence earlier this week.
In line with an official assertion issued right here on Saturday, the federal government has prolonged the suspension of cellular web providers in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Panipat, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Rewari, Sirsa, Sonipat, Jhajjar and Palwal district until 5 pm on January 31.
“This order is issued to forestall any disturbance of peace and public order within the jurisdiction of those districts of Haryana and shall be in drive with rapid impact. The opposition Congress hit out on the authorities’s resolution to droop cellular web providers.
In a press release, Congress Normal Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala claimed the web ban was ordered “with the intention to crush the farmers’ agitation” and demanded its rapid resumption.

The federal government had ordered on Tuesday suspension of cellular web providers in Sonipat, Jhajjar and Palwal districts after a violent farmers’ protest rocked Delhi. On Friday, it prolonged the suspension to 14 different districts.
There are a complete of 22 districts within the state.
1000’s of protesting farmers had clashed with the police through the tractor rally in Delhi referred to as by farmer unions on January 26 to focus on their demand for the repeal of the Centre’s three farm legal guidelines.
