Govt extends validity of expired driving license, automobile registration, permits until March 31

The validity of motorcar paperwork like driving licence (DL), registration certificates (RC) and permits has been prolonged by the Union Transport Ministry until March 31, 2021, in view of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry of Highway Transport and Highways (MoRTH) had earlier issued advisories dated March 30, 2020, June 9, 2020 and August 24, 2020 in reference to extension of validity of paperwork associated to Motor Automobiles Act, 1988 and Central Motor Car Guidelines, 1989.

“The Union Ministry of Highway Transport and Highways has prolonged the validity of vehicular paperwork like DLs, RCs, permits and so forth until March 31, 2021 within the gentle of want to stop unfold of COVID-19.
