Goa govt declares ‘Tika Utsav’ for 18-44 phase.

The Goa authorities on Wednesday introduced that it’s going to host “Tika Utsav”, a vaccination competition throughout the state to inoculate most inhabitants within the age group of 18 to 44 years towards COVID-19.

Talking to reporters after chairing a state Cupboard assembly, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant mentioned, “By Tika Utsav, we will vaccinate everybody within the 18-44 age class within the state. We now have witnessed a superb response to the Tika Utsavs that had been held up to now.”

The state authorities has held two “Tika Utsavs” up to now involving all panchayats and municipal councils.

Sawant additional mentioned the opposition events had been “unnecessarily” criticising the Tika Utsavs, after they had been garnering good response from the general public.

In the meantime, the chief minister rubbished reviews that the state authorities had bought Ivermectin tablets value Rs 22 crore that must be discarded now.
