The Haryana authorities on Sunday prolonged the coronavirus-induced lockdown within the state by one other week until June 7, easing restrictions on store timings which can now be allowed to remain open from 9 am to three pm on odd-even days.
The state authorities termed the lockdown “Mahamari Alert/Surkshit Haryana (Epidemic Alert/Protected Haryana)”.
Addressing a digital press convention, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stated regardless that the COVID-19 state of affairs has improved within the state, it has been determined to increase the “Mahamari Alert/Surkshit Haryana” lockdown until 5 am on June 7 with some extra relaxations.
He stated retailers which have been earlier allowed to open as per odd-even foundation from 7 am to 12 pm will now be open from 9 am to three pm.
“We had obtained representations from market associations after which we determined to alter the timings. Nevertheless, the retailers will proceed to open as per teh odd-even system,” Khattar stated.
Malls will now be allowed to open from 10 am to six pm, topic to sure circumstances, he stated.
