A Chinook helicopter on Saturday took off the particles of Indian Air Pressure’s MI-17 helicopter that caught hearth following a collision with an iron girder whereas touchdown on the helipad close to Kedarnath temple in 2018. The particles of the MI-19 helicopter can be carried to a close-by airbase.
The preparations for lifting the particles have been occurring for the final 15 days. Just lately, Air Pressure officers visited Kedarnath Dham and took inventory of the broken helicopter.

In 2018, the Air Pressure’s MI-17 helicopter crashed whereas touchdown on the helipad positioned behind the Kedarnath temple. Within the incident, the pilot suffered a minor damage, whereas the helicopter was broken.
The Indian Air Pressure had left the broken MI-17 there.
