Centre reconstitutes empowered teams for COVID administration

The Centre on Saturday reconstituted the six empowered teams into ten so as to deal with the present COVID-19 scenario within the nation. The Centre fashioned panels of Emergency Administration Plan and Technique, Emergency Response Capabilities, Augmenting Human Sources and Capability Constructing, Oxygen, Vaccination, Testing, Partnerships, Data Communication and Public Engagement, Financial and Welfare Measures, and Pandemic Response and Coordination.

Dr VK Paul, Member (Well being), NITI Aayog, would be the convener for the empowered group for Emergency Administration Plan and Technique panel, which may have 10 different members.

Whereas Rajesh Bhushan, Secretary, Division of Well being and Household Welfare would be the convener of the Emergency and Response Capabilities panel which can even have ten different members, Apurva Chandra, Secretary, Labour and Employment, would be the convener of Augmenting Human Sources and Capability panel which may have 9 different members.

Additionally, Giridhar Aramane, Secretary, Ministry of Street Transport and Highways, would be the convener of the 11-membered medical oxygen panel, and Dr VK Paul would be the convener of the vaccination panel which can even have 10 different members.

The convenor of the empowered group for the Pandemic Response and Coordination panel would be the Union House Secretary and it’ll have 11 different members.

The convenor for the empowered group for the testing panel would be the Director-Common of the Indian Council of Medical Analysis (ICMR) Balram Bhargava, and it’ll have eight different members.

The convenor of the empowered group for partnerships with the personal sector, NGOs, and others will probably be NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, and it’ll have 9 different members.
