Boy, 12, hangs himself after father stops him from taking part in cellular sport

A 12-year-old boy allegedly hanged himself after his father took away his cell phone over his habit to a sport in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, police stated on Tuesday.

The Class 4 pupil dedicated suicide at his residence in Dhana village, about 20 km from the district headquarters, on Monday, extra superintendent of police (ASP) Vikram Singh stated.

Based on the boy’s dad and mom, he was hooked on taking part in a sport referred to as Free Fireplace, for which he was reprimanded, the official stated.

The boy’s father Sitaram Patel, who’s a avenue meals vendor, confiscated the cellphone on Monday in an try to cease him from taking part in the sport, Dhana police publish in-charge Neeraj Jain stated.

The kid used a towel to hold himself in a room at his residence, whereas his mom was cooking in one other room, the official stated.
