The Bombay Excessive Courtroom has directed the CBI to conduct preliminary inquiry inside 15 days into corruption allegations made by former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh in opposition to state’s Dwelling Minister Anil Deshmukh.
Former Mumbai Police chief Param Bir Singh had set off a significant row final month when he alleged that Deshmukh had requested suspended Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vaze, who has been arrested within the SUV case, to gather Rs 100 crore from Mumbai’s eating places, bars and hookah bars.
