A complete of 163 ( 68 per cent) out of the 241 winners within the Bihar Meeting polls have declared prison circumstances in opposition to themselves within the ballot affidavits, with RJD topping the listing with round 73 per cent, Bihar Election Watch and Affiliation for Democratic Reforms (ADR) stated.
Of the 163 MLA-elects, 123 (51 per cent of whole affidavits analysed) have severe prison circumstances pending in opposition to them, together with these associated to homicide, try to homicide, kidnapping and crimes in opposition to ladies.
Within the 2015 Meeting elections, 142 (58 per cent) MLAs had self-declared such circumstances in opposition to them of their affidavits.
