Bihar govt plans to open ‘Dhabas’ on highways to advertise tourism (Representational Picture)

The tourism division in Bihar has give you the idea of opening ‘Dhabas’ on all state and nationwide highways. The goal is to advertise tourism within the state and generate income for the federal government.

Jivesh Kumar, Tourism Minister within the Nitish Kumar authorities, confirmed the transfer saying the proposal has been despatched to the Chief Minister’s Workplace for approval.

As per the proposal, a ‘Dhaba’ complicated could be constructed at each 30 km on the nationwide and state highways, other than 4 and 6 lane stretches connecting vacationer locations resembling Gaya, Bodh Gaya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Pawapuri, Bagha Nationwide Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, Sitamarhi, Kaimur, amongst different locations.

Sources stated the ‘Dhaba’ idea got here from the 302-km lengthy Agra-Lucknow Expressway which has ‘Dhabas’ at a distance of almost 100 km.

“The ‘Dhabas’ will likely be constructed by the state authorities and its shops could be allotted to people. The thought is to create jobs in these locations and generate income for the state authorities. The division may even give loans to people to determine shops,” an official stated, requesting anonymity.

“The tourism division will guarantee high quality and hygienic meals in addition to clear bogs,” the official added.
