Bengal polls 2021: Stones hurled at BJP’s march in Kolkata, a number of injured

Stress prevailed in Kolkata after unidentified miscreants hurled stones on the convoy of BJP chief Suvendu Adhikari. The incident befell on Wednesday night. A number of BJP leaders together with Kolkata BJP chief Shibaji Singh Roy suffered accidents within the assault. 

The incident befell in Phoolbagan space of Kolkata throughout a march led by Adhikari.

Earlier in January, Kolkata witnessed violence throughout a roadshow by Adhikari when Trinamool Congress staff threw stones and shouted slogans on the opposition leaders. 

In the meantime, TMC chief and West Bengal Minister Jakir Hossain suffered accidents after unidentified individuals hurled crude bombs at him in Nimtita railway station in Murshidabad district. Jakir was going to Nimtita railway station to board a practice for Kolkata.

The BJP and ruling TMC are spearheading intense election marketing campaign in West Bengal with the saffron occasion deploying its enviable political equipment to seize energy within the state which it has by no means dominated. 

Elections to the 294-seat state meeting are anticipated to be held in April-Could.
