Arvind Kejriwal launches ‘Pink Gentle On, Gaadi Off’ marketing campaign to cut back air air pollution

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday launched a marketing campaign to sort out air air pollution within the nationwide capital and urged folks to change off the engines of their automobiles whereas ready at visitors indicators.

Addressing an internet media briefing, the chief minister stated that there are one crore automobiles registered within the metropolis.

“We’re launching a marketing campaign ‘Pink Gentle On, Gaadi Off’ to sort out air air pollution. There are one crore automobiles registered in Delhi. In accordance with consultants, even when 10 lakh automobiles flip off ignition at visitors indicators, then 1.5 tonnes of PM10 will cut back in a yr,” stated Delhi CM Kejriwal

If 30-40 lakh automobiles come on the street on daily basis and preserve idling at visitors indicators, it will increase air air pollution ranges within the metropolis, Kejriwal stated.
