Digital fare meters together with printer, GPS and panic button will quickly be fitted on all taxis in Goa, state Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho has mentioned. “After floating an e-tender, the work order is issued to an empanelled vendor to produce the gadgets. The federal government will quickly begin fitment of the gadgets on taxis,” he mentioned.
Goa has 674 yellow/black taxis, 14,575 all India taxis (having allow to exit of the state), 2,593 all Goa taxis, and a couple of,250 app-based taxis, Godinho mentioned within the written reply.
